Playoffs? Playoffs? Whose thinking about the stinking Playoffs?

You may not be into sports, let alone football, but I can't let today go by without summoning spirits of past and present and future failures. The reality is that only one team wins it's last game, no matter the league, sport, country, etc. So keeping with my general theme that we all end on what is mistakenly perceived as a negative downer, choose your allegiance wisely and go forward with the perspective that it is only a game.

My "Ray of Sunshine" constantly reminds me that there are two ways to go through the game of life with a smile or with a frown. If we can always remember that the glass is half full, than pointing out the yang and not the yin is simply making trash out of lemons instead of lemonade.

So let's juggle a few lemons on this last day of 2010 and see what squeezes out into pour pitcher. This iPad was my toy purchase and I have enjoyed it's convenience, size, ease, and connectivity. (BTW I will be returning it soon to the Apple store, eat my 10% restock fee and plan to buy a MacBook that has "Flash" so I can manage my website. This is the only iPad drawback I have found but it is a major one - you see there is always another side to my coin.)

Yin XOQ - stay with the Yin .......... The granite is done, the tile looks great, the Van is still running with a very cheap spray paint coating, the Tiburon got fixed (although what is the deal with the coolant??) My "Ray of Sunshine's" clan were all here for Xmas, we have our health, gas logs, and although we still await a full house exterior paint job, the boys are all making enough money to get by.

We got to go to Seattle to see the Vashon and Whidbey family, visited North Lake Tahoe, went camping twice, still have paying tenants, finished the rough draft of ONE's first book, have Zman on board to do the art (these last 2 were my 2010 New Year's resolutions).

Get on board the bus, bring your favorite music, share your stories, tell us about your favorite movies, books, and stay connected. As you can tell by the previously started best of 2011, it might be a good one! XOQ
